As usual, a few of us will gather at the mouth of Marlin Bar creek around 5:30-ish to catch the outgoing and take advantage of the fried fish finger and calamari hatch and maybe a beer or two....should make for some interesting tying afterwards.

Speaker: 2009 Planning Meeting
Location: IGFA
Description: Regular Meeting

Our speaker will be Capt. Steve Horowitz, who will be speaking to us about the fall striped bass migration and the incredible fishing that accompanies it.

If you have a friend or fishing buddy who has been thinking of attending, this will be a "can't-miss" meeting. We all talk the big three and of course snook, reds and local freshwater haunts, but we get few opportunities to hear about how and more importantly, why our fellow flyfishers tolerate the weather up north for 10 months of the year to prepare for what is one of the best and most exciting fisheries our country has to offer.

Please join us at the Marlin Bar @ 5:30 or so for pre-meeting festivities.

Trips & Outings

Event: Stuart Outing
Date: TBD
Time:
Location: River Palm Cottages - http://www.riverpalmcottages.com/
Cost: TBD
Description: Come experience the great fishing in Stuart! For those who've attended in the past - I don't need to tell you what a blast it is...for those of you who haven't - you don't know what you are missing. If you don't have a boat - there's canoe/kayaking spots as well..and a # of very knowledgable guides as well. We can help you get in touch w/them - just let me know. River Palm is a beautiful local - right on the river and the cottages are cute and comfortable. This year we've reserved cottages all in a group so there's more opportunity for interaction.
