Welcome to the South Florida Fly Fishing Club, Inc.

 The club exists so that members may share information, knowledge and experiences (hopefully all good) relating to the enjoyment of fishing. The intent is to provide a learning and sharing environment.

Our regular meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month with exciting and informative speakers. In addition there are weekly fishing reports submitted by members and local guides, quarterly club outings, various raffles throughout the year, discounts at participating fly shops (membership card required), Fly Tying at Bass Pro every month, monthly Fly Casting Clinics at IGFA, an annual species contest, a club picnic and casting contests each fall; and an annual awards banquet and silent auction which includes the raffle for a free guided trip based on attendance. Club benefits include:

• A club e-mail address (yourname@sfffc.org) with webmail or local e-mail

• 10% discount at participating fly shops

• If you are a boat owner, you'll also receive a 50% discount off the regular BoatU.S. dues of $19.00 - and now pay only $9.50. If you aren't familiar with BoatU.S., they offer low-cost, good coverage boat insurance including special programs for trailerable boats as well as On-The-Water towing services, a subscription to their Boast/U.S. magazine, discounts at various marinas etc. A membership application is available...just ask.

• And, we're most pleased to provide discounted membership in the International Gamefish Association to all of our members. Because we've become an affiliate member club with the IGFA, dues for our members are $25/year instead of the regular $35 - that's more than a 25% discount there. If you've never toured the IGFA facility - it's an amazing resource available to those of us in South Florida and one which few in the community utilize.

We're actively involved in the South Florida community. Some of our recent activities include creating a fly board to be donated to the IGFA for their annual fund raising benefit and helping Boy Scouts earn the fly fishing merit badge. Click HERE to see the fly board.
